This year, the U.S. Navy will be christening a brand new aircraft carrier,\u00a0John F. Kennedy,\u00a0the second ship of the\u00a0Ford-class, nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. The\u00a0Ford-class\u2019s unique engineering and design innovations increase mission effectiveness, reduce workload for sailors and lower operating costs for the U.S. Navy.
